Hezbollah Denies Attack on the Occupied Golan Heights in Which 10 People Died

A rocket attack hit a football field in the village of Majdal Shams, on the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights, killing at least 10 people, but the Lebanese resistance group has denied the authorship of the attack.

“The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon categorically denies the allegations made by some enemy media outlets and various media platforms about targeting Majdal Shams,” says a short Hezbollah statement.

The Islamic resistance categorically denied all the “false alegations in this regarding” calling that they were nothing to do.

On the other hand, the Zionist Army said that the action was launched by Hizbullah.

In the attack, at least ten people have died, mostly children and adolescents, and according to the medic and rescue services more than 30 people were injured.

The Israeli media initially reported that Hezbollah had claimed responsibility for the attack and that, In addition, it had carried out another armed action against an Israeli military base on the Golan Heights. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported that 30 rockets were fired from the Lebanese side.

In addition Lebanese government condemned “all acts of violence” against civilians following the attack launched on Saturday against the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights that has killed at least ten people and called for “immediate cessation” of hostilities on the fronts.

“The Lebanese Government condemns all acts of violence and aggression against all civilians and calls for an immediate cessation of hostilities on all fronts. Attacking civilians is a flagrant violation of international law and goes against the principles of humanity,” the government said.
